If you had been to this Northamptonshire marquee wedding, you’d know that it was a special day. I had been looking forward to Anna and Matthew’s nuptials all year. They were keen on reportage wedding photography which suits my style perfectly!
It was a beautifully styled day. I’ve always thought it’s nice when a wedding is an extension of a bride and grooms personalities. The marquee allowed Anna and Matthew to have the exact day that they wanted. The result was spectacular. It had a rustic, countryside wedding feel. Champagne was flowing and all were having an amazing time. A special mention here has to go to Scrumptious Bakes by Emma who provided the yummy macaroons. They were a real treat!
As always, it’s hard to think of one favourite from these relaxed wedding photographs. There are lots of lovely couple shots featuring the bride and groom, but I actually love the photo of the lady peeking to see the wedding dress! It’s a pure documentary photograph! I took this shot while finding candid images of the guests. As a photographer, I sometimes get just as much joy from seeing my thought process come to light as I do taking an aesthetically pleasing photo. This is one of those!
Anyway, enough from me, here’s what Anna and Matthew had to say about their images…
“A million thank yous for these amazing photos, we absolutely love them and are completely blown away! Thank you for capturing the day so perfectly, it really means so much!”
