My name is Patch and I’m a documentary wedding photographer based in Northamptonshire. Before starting up Elliot W Patching Photography, I worked as a Formula One photographer for 6 years. I like running, cycling, skiing, and going to the gym. But above all, I love spending time with my wife Steph and our two little girls, Elsie and Tilly. Oh, and I love cake too. Can’t forget that!

I have photographed over 400 weddings in the past ten years or so. It’s humbling to think that all those brides and grooms put their trust in me to document their day. I love my job and I love weddings. I’m not going to tell you anything you haven’t already heard or read from other wedding photographers. It truly is a great profession, and this IS my profession. I don’t do anything else!

The truth is whatever I say here probably isn’t going to mean much to you. You possibly aren’t even going to read this. So if you are, thank you for taking a minute to read about little old me. However, if you’re not, you might have the right idea. Because although everyone’s life is made easier if we get along (I’m sure we will – I’m a nice guy!), ultimately it’s all about those photographs. This site is littered with them, you see.
