A few years back I photographed the wedding of Kristine and Stewart. I used to go to school with Kristine, and loved being a part of their special day. So imagine my delight when her sister, Lyndsey, asked me to provide Sulgrave Manor wedding photography for her and Ben! I was so pleased!
Lyndsay chose to prepare for her wedding day at the family home. Something that quite a few brides enjoy. It gives a lovely family feel to preparations. I got to work photographing the details and quickly moved on to shooting all the moments that were occurring. It was a fun and busy morning!
A CHURCH WEDDING SERVICE
The following church wedding ceremony was beautiful. I’ve always had a soft spot for St Peter and St Paul’s in Flore, Northamptonshire. It’s a favorite of mine due to the stunning views and beautiful textured stone walls surrounding it. These work very nicely with my photographic style. I actually took one of my favorite images of 2011 there. A long time ago I know. But I’m an experienced wedding photographer, having done this for over ten years!
NORTHAMPTONSHIRE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Walking up the aisle for the first time as husband and wife, the bride and groom made their way to the wedding car. It was time to make the journey to Sulgrave Manor for the rest of Lyndsay and Ben’s wedding photography. We were largely confined to indoors as it was raining. However, we found some nice natural light to work with, and began capturing some relaxed portraits.
After the wedding breakfast and speeches, it was time for the party. The evening came alive instanly, with the bride and groom leading the way. A funny first dance gave way to a paked dancefloor. All the wedding guests were having a great time and dancing like nobody was watching! Lucky I was though from behind my camera!
Here is what Lyndsay and Ben had to say…
