Who wants to see some wedding photography at The Church Restaurant? Yes? Well that’s good because that’s what I have for you this month….!
Anna and Jamie were another recommendation from a past client. Anna is a make-up artist (a very good make up artist too!) and had seen my snaps after we worked together. She was looking for reportage wedding photography and after a meeting and a little chat, we were confirmed, and I was left looking forward to getting myself back to The Church Restaurant. I’ve worked at The Church before, on a few occasions actually, and I’m a big fan! I’ve also eaten there on a few occasions too, and I’m a big fan of the food too!!! If you haven’t been, go!
The day began at the Park Inn in the centre of town. I seem to think the last time I walked through those doors was at my sixth form ball. Less said about that the better really! I got to work surrounded by the morning fun of a wedding and by the time I left Anna, her Bridesmaids and Man of Honour looked amazing!
A teary civil ceremony, followed by a relaxed drinks reception and spectacular food during the wedding breakfast ensued. The three of us took a walk around the surrounding area in town, which is a constant changing landscape. So much development is taking place in Northampton and it’s certainly for the better. It produced photo opportunities that I haven’t been able to explore before which was great! I also didn’t fall over a water feature at this wedding too which is always a bonus!!!
